Chile’s largest city and capital provides easy access to both snow-capped mountains and sandy beaches.

In 1541, the Spanish conquistador Valdivia discovered this pristine land in the central valley of Chile, and chose to settle in Santiago, partly because of its moderate climate.

Today, Santiago is a vibrant metropolis with impressive modern architecture and shopping. Among South America’s most important financial centers, the city also boasts numerous cultural attractions, including two symphony orchestras, and countless museums and parks.

THE WINE COUNTRY
The picturesque Chilean countryside includes two of Chile’s most important wine producing areas, the Casablanca and the Maipo valleys. Its privileged location, between the Andes and Coastal Mountain Ranges, create the perfect terroir for some of South America’s finest wines.
